Rainforestation Nature Park
Rainforestation Nature Park is set on the edge of the lush World Heritage Rainforest on 100 acres in Kuranda, just a 30 minute drive from Cairns.This award-winning attraction is home to the Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience, Rainforest Army Duck Tour and Koala & Wildlife Park. Alongside this, Rainforestation is also one of the largest off-site venues in Cairns and the Great Barrier Reef.

Venues
The Courtyard
The Courtyard is a beautiful lakeside event location featuring a sandy beach and a picturesque fountain. After dark, this area comes to life. Enjoy cocktail parties and marquee events with the lit fountain as a beautiful backdrop.
This versatile area can cater to an array of events, including corporate and private seated or cocktail functions. The capacity for the courtyard is 300 for a standing cocktail function or 150 guests for a seated dinner.

The Outback Restaurant
This versatile and customisable area is the largest covered venue at Rainforestation. Featuring tropical foliage on three sides in a rustic setting.
The Outback Restaurant is the perfect blank canvas for your themed function. Our dedicated events coordinator will work alongside you to bring your vision to life.
Seats up to 60 people or up to 200 cocktail
The Lakeview Bar & Verandah
The Restaurant has a large open veranda, overlooking our beautiful lake and fountain.
With a kitchen on-site and a serving area with bain maries, the Lakeview Bar is a great venue for pre dinner beverages or cocktail function. Can be combined with the Courtyard for larger functions.
The Tropical Fruit Orchard
Imagine an outdoor event in a festoon lit tropical fruit orchard with food station & beverages flowing.
Combine with park activities to cater up to 1200 guests.
As one of the largest event spaces in Tropical North Queensland, we offer fully catered events with Army Duck night tours, Pamagirri Performance & spear throwing demonstrations & Australian native wildlife.

The Amphitheatre
Learn about indigenous culture with the interactive Pamagirri Aboriginal Experience.
Watch a traditional dance performance in a unique rainforest amphitheatre day or night, then join the Dreamtime Walk which includes boomerang throwing, spear-throwing and the didgeridoo.
This venue can also be used for conferencing and presentations.
Boondarra Landing
Exclusive and unique is the only way to describe this dining experience deep in the Wet Tropics rainforest.
With access via original WW2 Army Duck to a purpose-built platform, delegates are wined and dined under the twinkling stars surrounded by pristine tropical forest.
Imagine a traditional Pamagirri welcome to country followed by bush tucker inspired delicacies.

Koala & Wildlife Park
Add a fluffy or feathery edge to your event with a visit to the on-site Koala and Wildlife Park.
Join a knowledgeable wildlife keeper for a guided tour for your group and get to know more about our residents.
See endangered species, such as the Southern Cassowary, Lumholtz’s Tree Kangaroo and Tasmanian Devil. Hand-feed wallabies and kangaroos meet koalas and dingoes and marvel at our giant Estuarine Crocodile, Jack the Ripper.
If you are having an event on-site, we can even bring the wildlife to you!
Army Duck Tours
Looking to add something truly unique to your event? Why not explore the rainforest on an authentic World War 2 Army Duck.
Hop aboard a magnificent historical vehicle and journey through the tropical rainforest. Your guide will point out different flora and fauna.
Splash into the lake as the vehicle becomes a boat and your rainforest journey continues in water.
Pamagirri Aboriginal Experiences
Learn about indigenous culture with the interactive Dreamtime Walk and Dance Performance.
Watch a traditional dance performance in a Rainforest Amphitheatre, then join the Dreamtime Walk which includes participation boomerang throwing and spear-throwing & didgeridoo playing demonstrations or let your Pamagirri Guide take you on an enlightening rainforest journey with a Rainforest Walkabout as he shares a personal insight into his ancient culture and its connection with the oldest surviving rainforest in the world.
Also on offer is the traditional yarning circle; the traditional format for open communication, the Yarning Circle offers an introduction to Indigenous Culture from our guides and offers an open floor for questions from participants.
Corporate Social Responsibility
Ask us about our Corporate Social Responsibility activities and the impact your event can make to the community, environment, economy and industry. We have a number of options available, and are happy to work with the needs of your business. One option is the Eco Sustainability Tour, which is a behind the scenes first-hand look at the eco-efficient initiatives in place at Rainforestation including the vermiculture (worm farm) and bio cycle waste treatment plant.
For a more hands on activity, Tree Planting is a fun and rewarding way for guests to learn about forest conservation. Each delegate is presented with a certificate of appreciation and a commemorative plaque for each company is placed on our Honour Board.
